EIMA International Agricultural and Gardening Exposition 2016, is the 42nd edition of one of the leading shows for agricultural equipment in Europe and is scheduled to be held in Bologna from November 9 to 13th , 2016. BKT will be participating in the show along with Univergomma, its Italian distributor for agricultural and agro-industrial tires and will use the show as a platform to showcase its leading products including Agrimax Sirion, Agrimax Force, Agrimax RT 600, Agrimax Spargo, Ridemax FL 693 M, Multimax MP 527, Multimax MP 522, in addition to Con Star. The company will also be launching a new size at the show.
Lucia Salmaso, MD of BKT Europe said that the show would provide the Indian manufacturer of off-road tires with a chance to display the highlights of its ranges and thus attest to its extensive product range. Visitors to the show will be able to see the wide range of tires BKT has for the agro and agro-industrial sectors. In addition to having a wide range of sizes, BKT also has a number of different ranges for different applications and invests heavily in research and development to design and develop tires that are more specific and can cater to the requirements of customers.
Tailored for tractors BKT’s Agrimax range has been made for high-end tractors. The Agrimax Force tires comes in size 800/70 R 42 with special IF technology and was developed specifically for high power tractors having an output exceeding 250 HP. When compared to standard tires, it offers users the benefits of lower inflation pressure and major load capacity, thus minimizing soil compaction. It also helps them to make significant savings when it comes to time as they can travel at a maximum speed of 65 km/h and do not need to switch tires or change the inflation pressure when they go from the road to the field and vice versa.
The Agrimax Sirio, meanwhile is meant specifically for tractors towing heavy loads and the tire comes with a class E speed index, making it possible for tractors to travel at a speed as high as 70 km/h, even while towing heavy loads. The tread has a large contact area and the tire offers lower rolling resistance thus making the tire very environment friendly as it offers excellent fuel economy, lower operating costs and has minimal impact on the environment. At the EIMA show, the tire will be displayed in size 710/70 R 38.
Specially designed for sprayers
The Agrimax Spargo range of tires is meant specifically for sprayers used in row crop applications and this tire will be displayed in size VF 380/90 R 46 at the EIMA show. The most distinctive characteristics of this tire are its lug geometry and tread pattern that facilitates passage through rows of crops without causing any damage and low level of soil impaction. The tire also has BKT’s VF technology which allows it to carry heavier loads for the same inflation pressure when compared to standard tires.
Ideal for harvesters and spreaders The Agrimax RT 600 will be displayed in size 800/65 R 32 and is ideal for use on loose an dsoft soil as well as over grasslands and lawns. It offers good levels of traction, high stability and a high load capacity. It has outstanding floatation and offers maximum protection to the soil.
Distinctly for trailers Another tire that is notable for its floatation properties is the Ridemax FL 693 M, which will be displayed at EIMA 2016 in size 560/60 R 22.5, is customized for use in all types of agricultural trailers. The tire can be used in spreaders, trailers, tank trucks and even for road travel as it is meant for 755 road use. It offers a high level of driving comfort, excellent self-cleaning properties, low rolling resistance resulting in fuel savings and a speed index class D/E making this tire a good one for combined on-and-off-the-road usage.
For farming and industrial applications Tires that can be used for both farming and industrial purposes include the Multimax MP 527 which will be showcased in a new size 440/80 R 24. It is positioned as a highly versatile radial tire that is designed specifically for telehandlers. It has a strong sidewall and an aggressive tread design excellent traction and extraordinary stability in the lift mode. Another benefit is that it has been made from a special compound that gives the tire extraordinary strength and resistance. Hence, the tire is highly resistant to chips and cuts and can withstand impacts.
Multimax MP 522, the BKT radial tire for agro-industrial applications which has a steel-belted casing and a reinforced bead will be displayed in size 460/70 R 24 and is notable for its superior grip. Another distinctive feature is its excellent puncture resistance which gives it an extended service-life, and extraordinary load capacity. It also displays outstanding stability in all excavating and loading operations.
Top vertical and lateral stability are the key features of the Con Star tire which will be showcased in size 400/70 – 20. The tire is highly suitable for vehicles used for agro-industrial handling operations. The tire has large lugs, that increase the contact area to the underlying ground surface and facilitate carrying of heavier loads and lifting operations. The tire is made from a special compound that increases resistance to cuts are impacts that are normally experienced in these applications and give the tire a significantly longer product life-cycle.
With such a wide range of high quality tires that cover possibly all the applications in the agricultural and industrial segments, BKT is all set to make a great impact at the EIMA 2016 show.
