In the runup to the 66th edition of the IAA show for Commercial Vehicles in Hanover, Hankook Tire has launched a new online press area that it has dubbed “Hankook Media Center”. At the new site with the web address, www.hankooktire-mediacenter.com, journalists can find all news related to the tire manufacturer in one place including press releases, photos and videos in a well presented format that facilitates easy navigation and fast access to all the information and materials they are likely to need.
The site has a new filter function that makes research easier by segregating content in different categories like Company, Motorsport and Cars and automatically filtering on the basis of what is typed in the search bar. The list of contacts has also been modified to reflect the right contact person for each specific segment. This makes it easier for mediapersons to ask for further information if they have any specific queries.
Another distinctive feature of the new Media Center is a section called Topics with extensive details about specific topics covering areas like products, motorsport competitions and participation in trade shows. One example of such a “Topic” is the tire manufacturer’s participation in the upcoming IAA for Commercial Vehicles show which covers all the media content pertaining to Hankook and its participation in the show. Journalists just need to make a single click to get all the images and content or to access the complete press kit.
The new Hankook Media Center is optimized for use on tablets and smartphones and has been created using a responsive web design. With clear and precise presentation of contents, it is just as easy on the eye when it is accessed on small mobile devices as when it seen on a desktop.
