Toyo Tires to Hold Annual Photo Contest for Fourth Year

Toyo’s subsidiary in the United States, Toyo Tires USA Corp, is inviting entries for the company’s renowned annual photo contest. Automotive photographers have a chance to submit their best shots and earn attractive prizes as part of the Toyo Tires Shutter Space Automotive Photo Gallery contest.

The theme of the contest this year is “blue” and the entry that wins the first prize will win gifts which include a Toyo Tires branded PelicanTM 1535 Air Carry-On Case with a TrekPak Divider System, a Pelican Sport Camera Backpack, Utility Go Case and water bottle. The most attractive part of the prizr package is that the winner will also get a trip for two to the annual Shutter Space Automotive Photo Gallery and Car Meet which will be held in Houston. The entry submitted by the winner will be featured at the event and in Super Street magazine.

It is not just the winner who will benefit from the contest. The Toyo Tires Shutter Space Car Meet & Automotive Photo Gallery will also feature the entries from 19 other finalists. All 20 finalists receive a Toyo Tires branded Pelican 1535 Air Carry-On Case with a TrekPak Divider System, and a Toyo Tires T-shirt and hat.

The entries submitted for the contest will be judged by an expert panel on the basis of several criteria which will include their originality; artistic composition and technical aspect; embodiment of the Toyo Tires’ brand and lifestyle; and the inclusion of a blue element. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, July 7 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT.

The fourth annual Toyo Tires Shutter Space Car Meet & Automotive Photo Gallery will be held on August 3, in Houston, Texas.
