Omni United Launches New UHP Tire

Omni United has launched a new tire in the ultra high performance category that has been designed specifically for high performance vehicles. Named the Radar Dimax R8+, the tire comes with an asymmetric tread pattern which offers superior handling even at high speeds.

The Radar Dimax R8+ tire also comes with wide circumferential groves to enhance safety in both dry and wet conditions. Advanced silica tread compound technology has been utilize to give the tire outstanding levels of wear and grip. The tire was designed using Computer Aided Design construction in order to provide motorists with a quiet and comfortable ride.

Radar Dimax R8+ tire will be available to fit wheels with rim diameters ranging from 17 to 26 inches, and will thus be suitable for most UHP passenger vehicles and high performance SUVs. The range also has tires in 29 runflat sizes. These runflat tires have been made with the latest reinforcing materials technology available, including the exclusive Radar Runflat Insert Technology (RRIT).

Over the next year, 131 sizes will be launched for the Dimax R8+ range in phases. Currently, forty-one sizes are available at the retail level in the United States, with an additional 23 sizes to follow in September 2016, and 11 sizes in December. The rest will be available by the end of May 2017. The Dimax R8+ is backed by a 30,000-mile treadwear warranty.
