Korean tire manufacturer, Nexen Tire Corp., has made a splash at the Good Design Awards by winning three awards in the transportation category – for the Roadian AT Pro RA8, the N’Fera RU5 and the N’Fera AU5.
The U.S. Good Design Awards is organized on annual basis by the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies in collaboration with The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design (Illinois) to recognize the best products in a wide range of categories transportation, computer and architecture, furniture and electronics.
This takes the total tally of awards won by the company to five, as Nexen had recently won the Korea Good Design Award for the N’Fera SUR4 and the Korean Institute of Design Promotion Award in the Lifestyle Vehicles category for the Roadian AT Pro RA8.
Commenting on the awards, Han Min-hyun, Nexen vice president and R&D director said that the awards attest to the outstanding design and excellent performance of the new products from the N’Fera and Roadian series. These laurels will prompt Nexen to continue its drive to develop competitive products by focusing more on research and development.
