Nexen Bags OE fitment for 2019 Volkswagen Jetta

Nexen Tire has bagged the OE fitment for the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta. The leading German car manufacturer has approved the Nexen N’Priz AH8 all-season tire as the factory fitment for the 2019 model of the Jetta family sedan.

The 2019 Jetta is the seventh generation of the car and is a compact four-door sedan. This edition of the car ahs been redesigned to give it a coupe-like body design. The car is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that offers fuel efficiency of 40 mpg, according to EPA ratings. Motorists can opt for either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

17 million units of the Jetta have been sold across the globe since the model made its debut in 1979.
The N’Priz AH8 tire comes with tread patterns which look like shark fins and has been designed using noise reduction simulation. As the OE tire for the Jetta, it is expected to provide motorists with a silent and comfortable riding experience. It will also provide them with high levels of traction and impressive fuel efficiency thanks to its multi-tread technology.

The Nexen tire is the second OE fitment that has been announced for the 2019 Jetta. VW also has opted for 16- and 17-inch variants of the Falken Sincera SN250A All-Season tire as OE fitments on the 2019 Jetta sedan that is being sold in North America.
