Hankook’s subsidiary in Canada, Hankook Tire Canada Corp has announced that the company has appointed In Hyuk Rhee as its president and CEO.
Rhee started his career with Hankook Tire in 1993, and has served stints as both manager of the Motorsports team at Hankook Global, and helmed the marketing strategy at Hankook’s European headquarters. He has gained deep knowledge of the tire industry and about Hankook during these stints and this has prepared him to take on his current role where he will have to oversee the company’s presence in Canada, Hankook says.
Commenting on his appointment, Rhee said that he was excited about the opportunity to play an expanded role within Hankook as the president and CEO of Hankook Tire Canada. He went on to express his commitment to the continued growth of Hankook Tire both in the Canadian market and on a global scale.
Rhee concluded, “As a global leader in innovation and high-quality products, I am dedicated to our continued mission to provide Canadians from coast to coast with tires that enhance their driving experience.”
