Ebrahim K. Kanoo Inaugurates Largest Dedicated Truck Service Centre

Ebrahim K. Kanoo has officially opened what it says is the largest dedicated truck service center in Bahrain. The company teamed up with Michelin to set up the full-service facility called Michelin Truck Service Centre (MTSC) in Salmabad, Bahrain with the goal of enhancing the operational efficiency of the growing medium and heavy truck industry in the Kingdom.

Sprawling over an extensive area of over 17,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art facility was opened at a gala event that was attended by key executives from Ebrahim K. Kanoo and Michelin. The new facility comprises a large warehouse for tires that covers more than 75,000 square feet and has the capacity to stock 100,000 tires in recommended storage conditions.

Stefan Moench, Chief Operations Officer of Ebrahim K. Kanoo reiterated the importance of the investment to meet the expectations of quality-conscious transporters saying that the company is constantly engaged in seeking new ways to offer its customers the best services to meet all their automotive needs. He added that MTSC demonstrated how Ebrahim K.Kanoo collaborates closely with its partner brands to deliver on its promise of customer satisfaction and to serve the needs of a growing industry. He concluded by saying that Bahrain’s medium and heavy truck owners now have access to a world-class one-stop shop that would provide them with hassle-free services at a convenient location in the heart of Salmabad.

The Michelin Truck Service Centre comprises seven dedicated servicing bays, which cater to tire change, wheel balancing, alignment, oil change and greasing in addition to repair work for truck and earthmover tires. The centre has dedicated stations for solid tire pressing and foam filling which can contribute a good deal to reducing vehicle down time and thus help businesses to reduce wastage of slightly damaged tires.
