Davanti Tyres has signed an exclusive sales deal for the Middle East market with international trading house Terramar GmbH. Devanti Tyres is a private brand of UK wholesaler Oak Tyres and signed the distribution deal as part of its plans for global expansion plans. Ever since the brand was launched in 2015, it has achieved strong global sales and it is now building on this growth with expansion on a global scale. Devanti had signed a similar distribution deal for the South African market in late 2016. From June 2016, Terramar has been exclusively selling Davanti Tyres across the Middle East.
Commenting on the distribution deal, Christian F Nafzger of Terramar said that Terramar was very happy to announce its Middle Eastern partnership with Davanti Tyres. The Middle East tire market is one that is challenging but dynamic and he said that it would be a welcome addition to the global growth of Davanti Tyres.
Terramar is an international trading house that is based in Hamburg, Germany and has a history of more than 50 years in developing distribution channels in overseas markets. Terramar will deal with the distribution of Devanti Tyres in markets like UAE, Yemen, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi-Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain and work on making the brand a key brand in the Middle East tire market.
Davanti made the decision to expand into the Middle East due to the growing demand for ultra-high performance and SUV tires in the region. By appointing Terramar as a distributor, Devanti will now be able to cater to this mid-range demand. Davanti’s range includes over 250 individual sizes that have been designed to satisfy the diverse range of applications and sizes that the region demands.
Peter Cross of Davanti Tyres “Our aim is to expand brand presence and sales into new countries and we are delighted to be working with a partner with extensive and very relevant contacts and experiences. We have many exciting developments planned for Davanti in the coming months in terms of new sponsorship partnerships, new products, and exclusive distribution partnerships”.
