Alliance has unveiled its first flotation tyre with VF technology. The Alliance 389 VF makes it possible for farmers to offer the maximum level of protection for the soil while carrying heavy loads and conducting their farming related activities like sowing and harvesting.
Earlier, farmers used tractors which were fitted with VF tyres, but the soil still suffered as they then used trailers which were fitted with standard tyres and passed over the same ground. With the new tyre being a flotation tyre that has VF features, the soil will suffer from minimal impact while the vehicle can carry the same load with 30 percent less air pressure. Alliance 389VF is now positioned as the only flotation tire in the market having VF technology which farmers can use to complete the full agriculture cycle by using VF tires.
Alliance also has a complete range of VF tyres that have been carefully designed to cause as little soil compaction as possible. These include the Alliance 372VF which can be used on tractors and harvesters as well as the Alliance 354 and Alliance 363, which are meant for use on sprayers and row crop tractors.
Alliance launched its first flotation tyre in 1994 when it debuted the bias and radial veriants of its flotation one, the popular A380. From then on, the company has been constantly innovating the technology and periodically debuted outstanding flotation tyres, making it one of the market leaders in the field. Now, with the introduction of the Alliance 389VF tyre, Alliance has the one and only flotation tyre with VF technology in the market, and its customers can optimize their yield while using VF tyres throughout the year.
Currently, the Alliance 389VF tyre is available in six sizes: VF 560/60R22.5, VF 600/55R26.5, VF 650/55R26.5, VF 710/50R26.5, VF 750/45R26.5, VF 750/60R30.5. Two more, namely VF 650/60R26.5 and VF 800/60R32 are under development.
The Very High Flexion Flotation technology used in this tyre makes it possible for the tyre to be either operated at 30 per cent lower tyre pressure or with 30 per cent more load at the same pressure when compared to a conventional flotation tyre. Thus, farmers can now benefit from the use of high-performance trailer tyres which can be used at the same pressure as the VF tires the powerful tractors which are used nowadays. This significantly reduces the foot print pressure and resulting soil compaction during agricultural operations, thus preserving soil fertility and maximizing yield.
