Valvoline, which is one of the leading suppliers of premium branded lubricants has debuted a new packaging innovation, its Easy Pour Bottle. Valvoline collaborated closely with customers to develop the game-changing design, which is a first in the industry. The patent-pending Easy Pour Bottle will make it a lot easier to change oil for automotive Do-It-Yourself (DIY) enthusiasts.
Commenting on the innovation, Heidi Matheys, Valvoline chief marketing officer said that the company’s goal for the past 151 years has been to use its expertise for the benefit of its customers. Each part of Valvoline’s Easy Pour Bottle was designed from scratch for DIY consumers in order to make changing oil easier, faster and cleaner. The technical team drew upon a lot of consumer field research and feedback in order to come up with this pathbreaking design
Several notable features of the new bottle include an Easy Pull Tab to make opening the pottle easier, a Precision Pour Spout for mess free pouring, an Anti-Glug Tube for faster cleaner oil change, Resealable Overcap with No-Slip Grip to minimize spillage and for safe storage and a Centralized Handle so that customers could hold the bottle with a better grip.
Valvoline has partnered with seven-time NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson who will feature in a series of entertaining videos to promote the new packaging. The videos are available for viewing at EasyPour.com.
