In its commitment to manufacturing products that spot leaks quickly and efficiently, while saving the technician both time and money, Tracerline has recently added a new leak detection lamp to its portfolio—the VioMAX Plus™ (P/N TP-8650ACS).
This telescopic, True UV (violet light) leak detection lamp is ideal for spotting A/C and fluid leaks in congested, cramped areas that are inaccessible to larger lamps. It boasts a super-bright 400 nm violet light LED delivers superior fluorescent response and contrast, and works with both ester/universal and PAG A/C dyes, as well as most fluid dyes.
Moreover, VioMAX Plus is extremely lightweight and portable; weighing only 1.6 oz (45 g). It only measures 9 in (23 cm) in the closed position and extends to 29 inches (74 cm). With the help of the huge pivoting mirror that measures 1-inch in diameter (2.54 cm), the technician can clearly spot even the most elusive leaks from any angle; even those that are out of sight and out of reach. The lamp automatically turns on when the shaft is extended and off when the shaft is compressed.
The VioMAX comes included with three 1.5 volt (AG3/LR41) batteries and is packaged in full color clamshell.
