Just recently, TOTAL Jordan has penned a deal with the Hashemite University to provide its students with internship opportunities.
Under the terms of the agreement, TOTAL Jordan will provide scholarships, training opportunities and give special attention to recognize students according to set clauses and standards. The company will also contribute in running workshops related to the oil and gas industry apart from taking part in activities and educational workshops performed by the university.
Commenting on the newly penned contract, Mr. Ouriaghli, the Managing Director of TOTAL Jordan, said that its Corporate Social Responsibilities nurtures on Education and Road Safety. He noted that the deal would establish a strong bridge between the Hashemite University and TOTAL Jordan, with the target of promoting Jordanian talents and TOTAL to share its experience in Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy with students enrolled at the Hashemite University.
According to Dr. Kamal Bani Hani, President of Hashemite University, collaborations with prestigious companies such as TOTAL Jordan enable them to provide valuable training opportunities to students to reinforce their qualifications and prepare them to enter today’s workforce.
