Total Marketing Middle East (TMME), which is a fully owned affiliate of the Total Group and is a leading lubricant company in GCC recently signed a distributorship agreement with AWR Trading. AW Rostamani Trading Co is an automotive business which is a subsidiary of the AW Rostamani Group and will be a distributor of TOTAL branded lubricants in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Both parties will now combine their expertise expand their presence in the automotive aftersales market in UAE. The distributorship agreement will further reinforce the existing strategic alliance between the two companies. With AW Rostamani Trading’s support, TMME plans to increase the number of oil change outlets to reinforce its position as a market leader and to expand its geographical reach in the country. Customers will also benefit from this partnership as they will have better access to premium quality lubricants.
The formal agreement between the two companies was signed between Michel Ayat, CEO of AW Rostamani Group, who represented AWR Trading, and Thibaud de Lisle, Managing Director of Total Marketing Middle East.
Commenting on the partnership, Michel Ayat, CEO of AW Rostamani Group said that his company was pleased to expanding upon its partnership with Total, which is one of the largest global oil and gas companies and an esteemed OEM partner for the Renault-Nissan Alliance. He said that this partnership is in line with the Group’s strong business pillars of professional management, prudent systems and processes, world class products and a large customer database and is expected to create bigger potential and expand both the B2B and B2C customer base, thus consolidating the associations that the AW Rostamani Group subsidiaries initiated.
