Tata Elxsi has recently chosen SOASTA to support its project that will develop a luxury car brand to design cutting-edge telematics and other services that will soon arrive in a selected vehicle line. The company will employ SOASTA’s TouchTest platform to approve and test the performance of main services and ensure that the project stays on track.
The platform allows digital business owners to get unparalleled and constant performance insights into their real user experience on web and mobile devices in real time and at scale. With over 100 million tests carried out and over 250 billion user experiences gauged, tested and enhanced, SOASTA is the leading digital performance expert trusted by industry-leading brands, including 50 of the Top 100 Internet retailers, the Forbes Top 10 media firms, and 7 of the Forbes Top 10 technology firms, including CBS, Netflix, DIRECTV, Microsoft, Intuit, Adobe, Best Buy, Nike, Etsy, Walmart, Sears, Home Depot, Staples, Nordstrom, Target, and Apple.
Tata Elxsi has been collaborating with SOASTA’s engineering team to develop the process and scenarios that form the basis of the tests.
According to Tata Elxsi Senior Vice President Nitin Pai, when applied to a luxury brand, the concept ratchets up several gears in terms of the precision, quality and exacting standard, noting that utilizing the SOASTA platform as their test track enables the company to measure and review the reliability, performance and tolerances of key aspects associated with the connected car itself.
“For such a scalable platform, it is easy to deploy and more affordable and cost effective than offerings from other vendors. The support, professionalism and responsiveness of the SOASTA team have helped us to prepare thoroughly for what lies ahead as we gear up for months of detailed and precise performance testing.” Pai added that they expect pressing deadlines that would constantly change as the requirements evolve but they have the reassurance, confidence and knowledge that SOASTA’s performance analytical platform is more than up to the challenge.
