RimBrim has announced the launch of a new, clear-polymer range of wheel protectors. These are available in six sizes. They will not only protect wheels, discs and calipers from tire shine chemical overspray but will also allow car fans to have a clear view of their wheels.
The company spokesperson Jeff Salomon said that RimBrim was excited to make the transition from a colored polymer to a transparent material. The new, clear RimBrim adds an element of style while protecting wheels from oil- and silicone-based tire sprays. The company has also uploaded a new video on its site RimBrim.com that shows the wheel protectors in action.
While tire shine sprays are good for the tire, they are not really good for the wheels as they cause chemical spotting and can leave an oily, dirt-attracting residue on the wheels. The wheel protectors from RimBrim which have a patented design will prevent this and eliminates the need to clean up the overspray from the wheels and calipers. This can save up to 75% in clean-up time. RimBrim comes with tabs or ergonomically designed grips to facilitate hands-free use and minimal handling while applying tire shine protectant.
According to Salomon, RimBrim has ambitious plans for expansion and will be launching several new products over the next three years.
RimBrim is available in six sizes: 16″, 17″, 18″, 19″, 20″ and 22″ diameters.
