Revel Audio Systems Now Featured in Lincoln’s Luxury Vehicles

The new Lincoln MKX midsize utility can already take anyone’s music listening experience into a new dimension, thanks to Revel Audio Systems now featured in the vehicle.

Revel, the most exclusive loudspeaker brand of Harman International, worked closely with Lincoln engineers and designers to craft a 13-speaker Revel audio system and a 19-speaker Revel Ultima™ system for the all-new Lincoln MKX.

Since 1996, the brand has served its audiophile customer base with outstanding, award-winning home-audio equipment. Highlighting science-based acoustic precision and speaker architecture, Revel systems are designed to recreate a musical performance as accurately and purely as it was recorded.

According to Kevin Voecks, Revel product development manager, the Revel audio system available in the new Lincoln MKX represents a new approach to ensure that the driver and all occupants enjoy the best listening experience. He noted that over the course of three years and hundreds of hours of tuning and refining, their partnership with Lincoln has created the most authentic audio experience possible.

The designers at Revel and Lincoln worked closely in order to develop a speaker grille design that perfectly complements luxurious Lincoln interiors while passing stringent acoustical testing for superior performance. Vehicles featuring a Revel Ultima sound system will include upgraded speaker grilles to add a touch of elegance to the interiors.
