Renault Sport Europe has unveiled a range of performance-oriented parts for the Clio RS, which is meant to be the first such set of a range that will soon expand to cover a complete set of parts meant to increase style and performance of all RS models.
The parts will be available in the market under the RS Performance badge, and the parts initially available will be of two types: a range of accessories for track days, and a range of non-car accessories like clothing and workshop parts.
“With these lines of accessories and derivatives, we are responding to a strong demand expressed by our community,” said Patrice Ratti, Renault Sport managing director.
When it comes to the style aspect, Clio RS Performance body kits will be available, in addition to Turini wheels which are finished in red or black.
With regard to the performance aspect, the parts on offer include carbon-fiber bucket seats, new exhaust, uprated brakes and suspension systems, as well as a strut bar for the Clio RS. These parts are meant for race car enthusiasts who might otherwise buy such parts from third-party suppliers to make their vehicles look tougher and more performance oriented.
Other items included in the catalog are items like tool trolleys, garage jacks and torque wrenches.
Guillaume Calvar, RS Performance project manager said that the RS Performance range is a range of products that bridges the gap between sports and racing cars, so that racing fans will have everything that they need to give their Renault Sport vehicle a customized look and convert it into a high-performance Track Day car. Now, they will have access to parts and accessories that offer Renault Sport quality and service.
Parts are available exclusively through the Renault Sport online store.
