ProVia Announces Milestone of One Millionth Spare Part

ProVia, the WABCO brand for commercial vehicle spare parts has announced that it has achieved the milestone of sale of one million spare parts. The one millionth part was installed at an independent workshop in Poland. The brand was launched just three years ago and the one millionth part was an air dryer with cartridge. The number of products in the range has grown by four times over the past three years to cater to growing demand across globe.

Commenting on the achievement, Aleksander Rabinovitch, Global Business Leader Spare Parts and Repair Solutions said that it marked an important milestone in what he described as a journey of continued growth that the brand has made along with its customers over the past three years.

Rabinovitch said, “We have built the ProVia brand and its growing portfolio on a solid mix of proactive learning and customer partnerships, rapidly and smartly expanding our portfolio as well as doubling our distribution network and global reach to deliver significantly enhanced customer proximity and support levels.”

Currently, ProVia products are available through 650 independent parts distributors spread across 1,000 locations in over 60 countries globally. ProVia has a portfolio comprising over 230 parts across 25 separate product lines that have been designed specifically to meet aftermarket needs. The brand’s extensive range includes replacement parts for trucks which are used by major original equipment manufacturers (OEM), with over 2000 OEM part cross references. ProVia plans to expand this product range in 2019 and 2020 with new product lines which include Hand Brake Valves, Coalescing Cartridge, Air Compressors and Load Sensing Valves.

Rabinovitch concluded by stating that ProVia’s success was built on the fact that it allowed its customers to shape its portfolio. According to him, the achievement confirmed that the brand’s market-focused approach is appreciated.

WABCO had officially launched its ProVia product line in early 2016.
