Volvo drivers will now experience a more thrilling driving pleasure, thanks to Polestar’s newly unveiled line of high-performance products.
Polestar Performance Parts offers an extensive array of improvements for the Volvo S60, V40, V60 and XC60 models to start with, including exhaust, wheels, chassis parts, interior and exterior details and many more.
Niels Möller, Chief Operating Officer of Polestar, said in a statement that they have received strong feedback over a long period of time from customers worldwide regarding Polestar Performance Parts. He noted that they are thrilled to be able to meet the demand, beginning from today. “This is a product improving on the already strong base of Volvo cars in terms of performance, handling and driving pleasure.”
Designed under the philosophy “Made to Perform”, all Polestar Performance Parts use the two-decade motorsport experience of the engineers and racing drivers from Polestar and its motorsport partner Cyan Racing.
According to Henrik Fries, R&D Director of Polestar, what they learned on the racing circuits with their colleagues at Cyan Racing is that championships are now won in one lap, noting that the secret of their success on the tracks is in creating balanced and accurate cars that are predictable for the driver to control in all situations. “Lessons learned on the tracks are transferred directly into the development of our road cars and performance products. The new range of Polestar Performance Parts is no exception, they are designed and developed with the very same philosophy.”
The Polestar Performance Parts can be bought as a complete package, including intake and exhaust; tires and rims; chassis parts; as well as interior and exterior parts. Together, all of these components will create a more enthralling driving experience, particularly in combination with the Polestar Performance Optimization and can also be purchased in separate packages.
Polestar Performance Parts are stringently developed and tested together with Volvo Cars to the same high standards as all other products. This process guarantees a perfect fit and finish without impact on the Volvo factory warranty and most notably, enhancing driving pleasure.
