Malco Products received the 2017 Global Media Award at the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas for the company’s its Headlight Restoration Wipe-On Kit.
Speaking about the award, Seth Glauberman, Malco’s vice president of sales and marketing thanked SEMA and its board of international judges for recognizing Malco. He added that products like the Headlight Restoration Wipe-On Kit have a broad application, in countries across the globe and he was proud to be part of the select group to receive the honor.
The headlights on a new car are in perfect condition, but as time passes, the hardcoat on the headlights can decay due to the impact of strong light and heat, UV rays, and general wear and tear from daily driving. The Malco Headlight Restoration Wipe-On Kit can be used to remove the coating on the lens and spread a protective sealant over the headlights to increase the safety and security of the driver and to help maintain the headlight’s crystal clear appearance. Each headlight restoration kit includes sandpaper, headlight sealant, lens drier, buffing pad, interface pad, tape, masking paper, and a tack rag that can be used to restore 20 headlights.
The SEMA Global Media Awards Program is meant to recognize those companies which create specialty equipment products and accessories which would have broad based global appeal and the products are judged and voted on by a prestigious group of knowledgeable international journalists based on strict criteria.
Linda Spencer, SEMA director of international and government relations said that the world is increasingly focusing on customization and personalization. SEMA’s goal through the program was to have the media experts from different parts of the world determine which new products are likely to succeed in their home markets.
This year, 34 judges from 19 countries were part of the judging panel and they carefully evaluated almost 3,000 product entries at the SEMA Show before choosing the products that they felt would appeal the most to customers in their countries as the winners.
