Forgeline has announced that it has expanded its range of wheels with a retro look. There are three new wheels in this series:
* JO3C – This is a five-spoke wheel that has been inspired by the vintage Chevrolet SS design that was seen during the late ’60s and early ’70s. Initially developed for country singer James Otto’s personal pro-touring Chevelle, this wheel is now available in 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes.
* NT3C – This wheel sports a lightweight, open-lug design that is based on the five-spoke designs which were popular in the ’80s. Forgeline collaborated with Neil Tjin, of Tjin Edition RoadShow, to create the bronze wheel, which was used on Tjin’s customized Ford Mustang in the Ford Motor Company display.
* LS3C – This wheel has a three-piece design that offers a new take on Forgeline’s classic LS mesh wheel of the Nineties. Forgeline used the latest materials, engineering and machining technologies to modernize the design, while at the same time retaining the classic style that was widely used for Porsches, BMWs and other European sports cars.
Like other Forgeline wheels, the three new wheels are available in numerous backspacing and color options, so that every customer benefits from a customized fit and appearance for his vehicle.
Commenting on the three new wheels, David Schardt, Forgeline Motorsports president said that the company created these retro themed styles in homage to the classic wheels of the past, while using modern materials and manufacturing techniques to make the wheels lighter and stronger.
Schardt added, “And with our sizing, color and powder coating capabilities, there are no compromises when it comes to selecting a wheel-and-tire combination. You’ll get the right fit and stance.”
Customer James Otto was highly satisfied with the new wheels he got for his classic Chevelle saying that Forgeline creates the strongest wheels in the industry, with the most innovative and aesthetically appealing designs. He said he was happy with how the new JO3C wheel fitted his Chevelle, as it filled out the wheel wells and gave the car just the right stance.
He concluded by saying that Forgeline has become the brand of choice among the pro-touring community.
