Aiming to give drivers a better motoring experience, Federal-Mogul Motorparts has expanded its Wagner Brake brand’s rotor, drum and hydraulic application coverage on 464 brake rotor, drum and hydraulic part numbers for a combined total of almost 160 million registered vehicles.
According to the company, the expanded rotor coverage to 84 premium Wagner E-Shield brake rotors includes over 41 million VIO. The Wagner E-Shield protective coating technology inhibits corrosion and prevents the rotor from corroding to the hub, enabling easier elimination of the rotor for service. With these part numbers, Wagner E-Shield premium rotors represent 98 percent of the brand’s rotor sales.
Included in the coverage expansion are enhancements to 324 Wagner brake hydraulic part numbers with combined coverage of over 90 million registered vehicles. Included in these part numbers are 179 hydraulic hose part numbers, drum brake wheel cylinders, parking brake shoes and cables, clutch master and slave cylinders, and 100 master cylinders and dozens of disc brake hardware kits. Federal-Mogul also expanded its premier line of Wagner brake pads to an extra 4.2 million registered, late-model vehicles.
According to Christopher Battershell, director, braking product management, North America, Federal-Mogul Motorparts, as one of the globe’s leading OE and aftermarket brake manufacturers, Federa-Mogul Motorparts and the Wagner brand are uniquely positioned to support the complete brake system service requirements of today’s repair businesses. He said that they are delighted to continue to expand the coverage and availability of their latest product innovations, including premium E-Shield rotors and a wide range of high-quality hydraulic parts.
