It seems like the odds are in favor with Faurecia. For the second time around, the automotive parts manufacturer has been nominated as strategic partner within the “Future Automotive Supply Tracks” initiative (FAST) of the Volkswagen Group. Following the nomination of the business groups Interior Systems and Automotive Seating last year, the business group Emissions Control Technologies has now been awarded as FAST partner, too. Only distributors and suppliers showing exceptional performances for the Volkswagen Group are considered for the nomination.
According to Christophe Schmitt, Executive Vice President of Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies, to be chosen as strategic partner by the Volkswagen Group, is a great honor for them and makes them proud. He noted that the close collaboration with the German company hugely contributes to the development and use of cutting-edge technology in the field of exhaust systems.
It is through the Volkswagen FAST initiative that the Volkswagen Group is creating a network of strategic suppliers that work together to enhance the value stream. As a FAST strategic supplier, Faurecia will have involvement in joint value creation initiatives within the Group at an earlier stage, offering new opportunities for future growth.
