Delphi Technologies has announced that it has made brake pads for Jaguar Land Rover’s pride and joy, the new Land Rover Defender 110 even quicker than the vehicle reached the market. When it comes to braking parts, the company prodes itself on being the first-to-market as in the case of the Audi Q8, Ford Fiesta ST and Focus and Toyota Supra. In the case of the new Defender, Delphi managed to surpass even its own expectations and was quicker than the vehicle manufacturer. The new Defender made its global debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019. It is now only available for pre-order only. The first deliveries are expected to be made only by spring 2020. Delphi Technologies worked extra hard to develop both the front and rear brake pads for the new vehicle- part numbers LP2187 and LP2508 and bring them to market even before they could be sourced from the local Land Rover dealer. Those who buy the new 2020 Defender can now rest assured that they would be able to get quality aftermarket brake pads from a well known supplier.
