Leading telematics solutions and embedded engineering services provider Danlaw, Inc. has recently announced that its Mx-Suite™ Test Automation Platform now supports the AUTOSAR 4.2.x standard while continuing to support 3.2, 4.0, 4.1. The automation platform offers a Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) environment to use and test the AUTOSAR application software.
The automotive application software of today continuously grows in size and intricacy. Aiming to properly manage this intricacy, Mx-Suite™ provides capabilities that support HiL, SiL (AUTOSAR) and MiL (Simulink) testing phases, making Mx-Suite™ a perfect corporate standard for automated lifecycle development and testing.
Thanks to the automated configuration capability of the Mx-Suite™ Runtime Environment (RTE) Emulation and AUTOSAR OS, the SiL test environment for the AUTOSAR software components is created in just seconds. According to Michael McCormack – Director of Product Development at Danlaw, Mx-Suite™ eliminates the need for in-depth programming knowledge, enabling the test engineer to fully focus on exercising the behavior of the component being tested.
Integration testing is made easy through using Mx-Suite’s™ automated harnessing of AUTOSAR composition software components. Its toolset offers a distinctive level of automation and capability to test different communication mechanisms between software components, including RTE Events, Mode Switch, Client Server and Sender-Receiver.
