Centric Parts has launched a new range of StopTech Brake Kits and Components which can be used in Mazda MX-5 Miata models from 1989 to 2016. This new range will supplement the company’s current range of OE replacement parts and will cover Mazda Miatas/MX-5 belonging to all model years. Centric parts has a wide range of aftermarket components for Mazda Miatas including rear components that can be used along with the front StopTech Big Brake Kits. StopTech brake components are the perfect replacement for OE components as they need no modifications to the vehicle and as an added bonus offer significantly better braking feel, performance and modulation as well as less fade when compared to standard systems.
As StopTech High Performance Brake Kits have stiffer components and patented heat management technology, motorists using these kits benefit from better brake modulation, shorter stopping distances, less brake fade and firmer pedal feel. Thus they offer users a more reliable performance both on and off the road. The kits for individual models vary depending on the size of the engine and rear brake selection. All kits come with two-piece StopTech pillar vane rotors, StopTech four-piston calipers, StopTech Stainless Steel Lines and all necessary hardware.
For the 2016 Mazda Miata, in addition to the front BBKs offered for 1989-2015 Miatas, StopTech has launched braided stainless steel brake lines. According to Centric, these brake lines provide users with a quicker, firmer, more consistent pedal response as they reduce system compliance and help to maintain consistent brake pressure.
