Axalta, which is one of the leading suppliers of liquid and powder coatings in the world highlighted its Standoblue and Cromax Pro waterborne automotive refinishing products at the Expo CESVI which was recently held in Mexico.
Axalta makes products that cater to the needs of its global refinish customers as these products help them to meet their quality and sustainability goals. The company said its Cromax Pro and Standoblue range offer the benefits of accurate color matching and ease of application. Axalta’s performance energy systems reduce the time needed for vehicle repair and also help to reduce the consumption of energy in body shops so that they can lower their carbon footprint.
Commenting on the company’s participation in the show, Manuel Maestro, regional sales and strategic accounts director, Axalta Mexico said that sustainability and high performance take centerstage for Axalta. He said that the company is committed to the development of innovative products that can help to increase throughput in body shops across the globe.
Axalta received seven certifications from the Center for Experimentation and Road Safety (CESVI), thus becoming the coatings company to have the highest number of approvals from CESVI. CESVI awards these certifications to products that either meet or exceed their rigorous quality standards, specifications and performance metrics.
Maestro added that Axalta was honored to receive these certifications from such a prestigious institution. He said, “With more than 150 years of experience, we understand the automotive market and the needs of customers in Mexico and will continue to deliver the highest quality products, services and technologies that grow our customer businesses.”
Axalta has been a regular participant in Expo CESVI from the time the show was first held 18 years ago. It uses the show to promote its latest products related to refinishing technology. Axalta has emerged as a leader in developing sophisticated color-matching technologies. They have evolved from naked-eye techniques to the highly sophisticated spectrophotometers that are currently used.
As part of Axalta’s commitment to customer satisfaction, the company regularly provides free training to automotive refinish painters at their body shops through the “Axalta on Tour” program. This program has helped over 20,000 painters in Latin America to become better, more productive and more energy efficient.
Axalta’s loyalty program in Mexico, “The Painter’s Club” has over 3,000 refinishers as its members and attests to the dedication and hard work of refinishers in Mexico.
