ALPS Coating Opens Middle East Regional Office in Bahrain

Just recently, ALPS Coating SDN BHD, a globally acclaimed refinishing part manufacturer headquartered in Penang, Malaysia, has officially inaugurated its Middle East regional office and technical training center in collaboration with Kanoo Paint Centre’s offices in Bahrain. The new office is also housed within Kanoo Paint Centre, which targets to serve and support the Middle East market as well as to provide product training for customers.

The regional office’s opening ceremony was spearheaded by Managing Director, Yeap Hup Suan and attended by Yeap Teng Khoon, Director of ALPS Coating. During the event, ALPS Coating gave the “Best Distributor Award” to Ebrahim K. Kanoo B.S.C (c) and Chairman Mohammad Kanoo at his office. The award recognizes the best international performance distributor for the 2015 Fiscal Year.

ALPS products are supplied to different South East Asian countries, as well as, Australia, Bahrain, India and China. They have been offered in the Middle East region since February 2014, with demand and positive feedback from customers.

Hamid Moaref has always been fascinated by cars and the automotive industry. His family has a longstanding association with the industry and has been in the tire business for the past 35 years. Raised in Dubai, Hamid attended Capilano University in Vancouver where he graduated with a BBA in marketing before attending an intensive course in magazine publishing in 2005. He has been the publisher and chief editor of Tires & Parts magazine for the past ten years.
