It is now clear that the racy Focus RS will probably not get a successor based on the
current, fourth generation of the Ford Focus. The ST with 280 hp petrol engine (or
alternatively 190 hp diesel) will therefore remain the top model in the series. A copy of
this has now been refined by the specialists at JMS Fahrzeugteile, who have been
active in the field of tuning and refinement of cars since 1992. The Hot Hatch received
an all-round carefree package including installation and registration / TÜV approval.
As usual, great emphasis was placed on customer satisfaction and high-quality
components.
A set of the particularly light Project 3.0 rims from the Ultralight Series from Barracuda
Racing Wheels, manufactured using the flow forming process, is mounted in the wheel
arches. A special highlight of the 8.5×19 inch rims with 235/35R19 tires, which
basically have a black finish, are the modern styled Y-spokes with partly milled
contours, whereby these areas are in Flash Orange in this case and thus set skilful
color accents.
JMS carried out the additional lowering of the body with the use of a KW Variant 3
coilover kit. And last but not least, a glossy black diffuser from Rieger Tuning ensures
an even more dynamic and aggressive look for the rear. At the same time, it provides
a perfect frame for the carbon-coated tailpipes of the Milltek sports exhaust system,
which gives the ST an even richer and more robust sound.
