G-POWER G5M CS Bi-TURBO packing 900 hp

One of the ultimate athletes among luxury sedans is undoubtedly the BMW M5, which is also
available in the more powerful Competition version. The latter delivers 625 hp and 750 Nm,
allowing it to catapult to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of up to 190 mph. And
yet, its offshoot – the M5 CS, which was rolled out in March 2021 – achieves even more
extreme values: 10 hp more powerful yet 70 kg lighter than its brother, it promises even
stronger performance. It is the most powerful M of all time – at least if the lightweight variant
has additionally undergone a G-POWER upgrade. The BMW specialists have pushed the
M5 CS to 900 hp and 1,050 Nm!
However, the specimens presented here are somewhat tamer, packing a power of 820 hp
and 1,000 Nm. This was achieved by combining GP-820 performance software with
numerous other hardware adjustments, including the GP-900 turbocharger upgrade,
G-POWER sports downpipes, and the GP-DEEPTONE exhaust system, the tailpipes of
which have different diameters (90 mm outside, 100 mm inside) and which come in Carbon
or Forged Carbon.
For drivers who like things even more extreme, G-POWER also has a few tricks up its
sleeve, namely the G5M HURRICANE RS and the G5M HURRICANE RR, which generate
840 hp and 1,050 Nm thanks to additional upgrades – such as forged pistons and
connecting rods for the RR – as well as the 900 hp and 1,050 Nm HURRICANE models
already mentioned above. This allows them to reach a top speed of 207 mph (limited).
At the other end of the power spectrum, G-POWER also has various upgrade options for the
M5 CS. The entry-level upgrade is the power boost to 700 hp and 850 Nm, which is
achieved with GP-700 performance software. The next step up is 740 hp and 900 Nm, which
can be generated with GP-740 performance software in combination with the GPDEEPTONE
exhaust system.Finally, GP-780 performance software in conjunction with the sports downpipes and exhaust system produce 780 hp and 950 Nm.
In all power stages, G-POWER places great value on high durability and longevity of the
engine as well as good drivability of the vehicle after the upgrade. All products and power
levels mentioned here are well-known spin-offs of the classic M5 F90 that have been

Aside from the power enhancements, G-POWER has also given the two M5 CS an even
more striking and individual look thanks to the forged wheel set developed in-house.
Customers can choose from the HURRICANE RR and HURRICANCE RS designs. Both are
available for the CS in the dimensions 9×21 and 10.5×21 inches with 285/30R21 and
295/30R21 tires. As an alternative, the HURRICANE RR double-spoke rim is also available
in the smaller size of 9×20 and 10.5×20 with 275/35 and 285/35 tires.
