Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone) announced the introduction of a new ozone sanitization service as part of its Mobox monthly subscription service. As part of the offer, Mobox customers can now avail free sanitization of their vehicles once every quarter (3rd, 6th and 9th Month from the date of first tyre fitment) during the period of contract. The sanitization services will be provided using an ozone sterilization and disinfection machine, which penetrates the car’s interiors with a stream of highly oxidizing ozone. Unlike liquid disinfectants, ozone is capable of destroying all microorganisms like bacteria, virus, yeasts and molds with its unique decontaminating and penetration capabilities.
Bridgestone launched Mobox – the first-ever monthly tyre and car maintenance subscription service – in line with macroeconomic and societal changes that are now prompting consumers to shift their focus from products to services. This all in one approach to buying tyres and car maintenance spares customers from unexpected costs.
Stefano Sanchini, Regional Managing Director, Bridgestone MEA, said: “We understand that in light of the spread of COVID-19, many customers are seeking car sanitization services. Therefore, we are glad to launch this promotion for our customers when they most need it. Through this initiative, we also seek to encourage them to keep up with routine tyre checks, which is necessary to keep their cars in good shape at all times.”
Mobox users pay a flat monthly fee for a flexible range of services that can be customized to meet specific needs and budgets. The basic package includes new premium tyres, tyre fitting and full warranty for tyre related damages.
