The deadline is looming for those who aspire to join the 2016 Infiniti Engineering Academy. Engineering students from all disciplines have time till June 30, 2016 to apply for the career opportunity of a lifetime and become a part of the Renault Formula One racing tam and an exclusive team of highly trained and expert automotive engineers in Nissan.
Almost 400 students in the UAE have expressed interest in becoming a part of the program that Infiniti has developed to refine the talents of students who might have a fresh and highly creative approach to technology. The Infiniti Engineering Academy will give candidates a chance to play a crucial role in the success of the Renault Sport Formula One team as part of the brand’s new technical partnership with the team in addition to hands experience in the Infiniti Technical Centre for Europe in Cranefield, UK. Thus the Academy will provide aspirants with a unique training program that covers essentially all aspects of automotive engineering ranging from the production aspect to the Formula One aspect.
Speaking about the response to the program, Juergen Schmitz, Managing Director, Infiniti Middle East said that so far, the response to the program has been excellent. He expressed his confidence that the program would lead to the discovery of at least one talented student who would get this dream opportunity.
The stints at both the Infiniti Technical Centre and the Renault F-One Team would give the winners a chance to spend 12 months honing their skills in both the big business world of automotive engineering and the thrilling world of Formula One racing.
The new collaboration with the freshly minted Renault Formula One Team would give greater depth of knowledge transfer and greater scope for collaboration to the Academy.
