As part of their partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, Audi Al Nabooda provided 27 cars to ferry participants in the Badminton World Super Series Finals to and from their matches. The event concluded with a bang on December 28 , with Viktor Axelsen from Denmark and Akane Yamaguchi from Japan emerging as the winners of the men’s and women’s finals respectively with convincing victories. Axelsen was the winner of the 2016 edition of the tournament as well.
This is the third time that Audi Al Nabooda partnered with this prestigious tournament, which serves to bring the best badminton players in the world to Dubai. The competition was held at the iconic Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai and on order to earn a place in the playoffs in Dubai, players should earn adequate “Destination Dubai Ranking Points) from twelve MetLife BWF World Superseries events that are held through the the year in different cities across the world.
