Following the immense success of the first Iceland trip that it offered to a few lucky customers in the UAE, Arctic Trucks has announced that it will be holding a second such Iceland trip that will cover even more locations in the beautiful country located north of the Arctic Circle. This trip will be held from April 22 to 28 and there are only 12 spots up for grabs.
Commenting on the upcoming adventure, Hjalti Hjaltason, Arctic Trucks General Manager said that the very first off-road adventure trip that the company arranged was highly successful and all those who went on the trip gave glowing reviews. This led the company to plan another trip in April for those clients who missed out the first time.
This second trip will not only be a seven day adventure that will cover more scenic areas of Iceland but will have the added flexibility of allowing customers to spend an extra day in Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik towards the end of the trip. The travel package will cover all expenses including all meals, hotel stays and fully guided offroad trips in vehicles that are powered by Arctic Trucks.
Just like the first Iceland trip, the second tour will cover some truly spectacular scenic areas including Haukadalur, where the great Geysir hot spring is located, the Gullfoss waterfall, and the road up Kerlingarfjöll mountain with stops at plenty of hot springs along the way on the first day. The stops on the second day include Hveravellir which is famous for its hot springs, an adventurous ride down the Kjölur mountain road from the highlands, and a visit to the Langjökull Glacier which is the second largest glacier in Iceland for trips on snowmobiles.Other scenic areas that will be visited include the extraordinary mountains of Landmannalaugar, Háifoss waterfall which cascades down from a height of 122 meters, the Gjain canyon and the Hjálparfoss waterfall. A number of volcanos including the renowned Hekla volcano and Eyjafjallajökull volcano and Katla volcano are also on the itinerary.
An offroad trip from Minniborgir is billed as the highlight of the trip as Arctic Trucks will take the tourists through the ultimate 4×4 experience by negotiating a number of difficult tracks through breathtaking mountain ranges. These tracks will not only be highly adventurous but are also extremely scenic.
“Iceland has many beautiful landscape and we have extended the tour from 4 to 7 days so we can cover more areas that will leave our customers satisfied and refreshed from this adventure. We will visit some the most famous volcanic areas, glaciers and waterfall Iceland has to offer always ensuring safety of our customers first”, Hjalti added.
With its mix of offroad adventures, visits to waterfalls, hot springs and volcanoes and plenty of spectacular scenery, this trip holds out the promise of a truly relaxing but adventurous break. Customers who are interested in joining the trip can contact Arctic Trucks to book a spot.
