A one-of-a-kind 1972 Porsche 911 S 2.4 Targa built by Porsche Classic, remodeled and reinterpreted in accordance with the modern 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design, was accompanied by the historic 911: Chronograph 1 – 911 S 2.4 Targa, a unique timepiece counterpart developed on the basis of the Chronograph 1 – 1972 Limited Edition went under the hammer and sold for a world record of $1,149,000 through RM Sotheby’s online bidding platform, setting a new world record for the Porsche Targa model.
