Creating, capturing and storing memories is very easy nowadays with modern smartphones. However, most of us have a bunch of dog eared albums with our school pictures, home videos in VHS format and cassette tapes that we keep out of a sense of nostalgia but cannot really see or hear as the technology is now outmoded.
Now a new service named Legacybox makes it possible to get these memories in a digital format that we can access easily. All you need to do is carefully label and pack up those old audio tapes and VHS tapes and send them off to Legacybox in a special crushproof mailing box that the company sends to you with a list of instructions. The box also includes special barcode stickers to help trace inpidual items. You will get regular updates from LegacyBox while your items are being processed and converted into digital files.Within a period of about two weeks, you will receive a box with your original tapes and a stack of DVDs that have been carefully packed and labeled. You can also order a thumb drive to make it easier to load and share your videos with friends and family.
