Many power SUVs offer a power potential these days which was reserved for the super sports car elite just a few years ago. As we all know, you can never have enough power! For example, owners of the BMW X5 M Competition of the current F95 series, who want a little more oomph than the standard 625 hp and 750 Nm, are at exactly the right address, with the specialists from MANHART Performance. If required, they can transform the most powerful X5 into their MHX5 700. The number 700 immediately shows unmistakably what’s on offer. After all, at MANHART it traditionally stands for performance. In fact, it’s a bit of an understatement, because the 4.4-liter V8 generates 730 hp and 900 Nm here. This is achieved either by installing the MANHART MHtronik auxiliary control unit, or by ECU remapping. The MHX5 700 also features the MANHART stainless steel exhaust system, with valve control. If desired, this can be connected via race downpipes without catalytic converters, which, however, just like the stainless steel OPF-Delete replacement pipes and the OPF/GPF Deleter, which are also available, do not have TÜV approval and are thus only suitable for export. While the example of the MHX5 700 presented herewith counters the forward momentum with its factory high-performance braking system, optional individual upgrades are configurable upon request. The MAHNART suspension optimization, including lowering by H&R springs, further ensures improved driving dynamics and a more crouched appearance. MANHART also gives the MHX5 700 a noticeably more striking appearance. On the one hand, the SUV stands on satin black Concave One wheels in 10.5×22 inches, with gold rim decoration and tires in the dimensions 295/30ZR22. On the other hand, it wears a complete MANHART body kit made of carbon. The nose flaunts a hood with GTR air intakes and a front spoiler. The side line is refined, with exterior mirror caps and two-piece sills. Last but not least, the rear is adorned with a two-piece spoiler and a diffuser. Finally, the styling is rounded off by a typical MANHART decal set, with gold trim strips applied to the black bodywork. For interior refinement, MANHART offers shift paddles, as well as a steering wheel spoke trim made of carbon and embroidered floor mats.
