ENOC Link Deploys Fueling Vehicles to Support Disinfection Drive

ENOC Link, The Group’s fuel delivery digital venture, did its bit to support the Dubai Municipality’s national disinfection drive that is being currently carried out to minimize the COVID-19 outbreak by providing dedicating mobile fueling trucks for refueling the Municipality’s fleet of sterilization vehicles. The trucks were deployed to provide free petrol and diesel fuel to all the vehicles and equipment used in the campaign across all locations in Dubai.

Dedicated ENOC Link diesel trucks having a capacity of 5,000 liters and 2,600 liters trucks loaded with Special 95 petrol were used for exclusively fueling the Dubai Municipality’s fleet of vehicles and equipment, so that the disinfection fleet saved on time needed to stop for refuelling. This further enhanced the operational efficiency of the disinfection ncampaign and contributed to timely disinfection and sterilization measures.

H.E Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC said that ENOC has always been a keen contributor to the national agenda. He said that the company was committed to utilizing its expertise and technology to support the Dubai Government’s efforts to fight the Covid-19 outbreak.

He added, “The Government’s mandate to execute a nationwide disinfection drive is of grave importance for the safety of our communities and we are proud to lend our support by ensuring that their fleet has uninterrupted access to fuel, irrespective of their location.”

ENOC Link trucks will be located in designated locations based on the Dubai Municipality’s daily plans for the disinfection campaign.

Commenting on the initiative, Dawood Al Hajeri, Director General, Dubai Municipality said currently many companies, organizations and members of the community are coming together to support the government in its efforts to tackle the outbreak of COVID-19. He said that the government recognized the value of these initiatives and the role they would play in helping to combat this global pandemic.

Al Hajeri concluded, “Together we will work to turn ideas into tangible realities, all in the hopes of achieving one goal.”
