Al Rahala International Uses Dealers Meet to Launch “ZRT” Run Flat Tires

Al Rahala International Trading Co. L.L.C. is the exclusive dealer in the Middle East & Northern Africa for “ZC Rubber Group”. ZC is the tenth largest tire manufacturer on a global basis and makes tires under the Westlake, Goodride and Chaoyang brands. The company recently used its dealer meet to launch “ZRT”, its first generation of run flat tires.

“ZRT” tires were launched during a gala annual gathering of all of Al Rahala’s dealers in the MENA region. The event was held on May 8, 2017 at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre on Airport Road in Dubai.

ZRT tires are positioned as run flat tires that allow motorists to continue their journey even if they get a puncture. They can drive for up to 80 km at a relatively normal speed of up to 80 km per hour after a puncture. This will allow them to keep going till they are able to reach a safe place where they can stop. ZC Rubber has designed these tires with strong self-supporting sidewalls so that they continue to support the weight of the vehicle even after complete pressure loss.

Standard tires support the weight of vehicles with the aid of air pressure that is contained within the tire. ZC Rubber’s sidewall reinforced ZRT tires leverage the strength of the reinforced rubber in their sidewalls to retain their shape and support the vehicle at zero air pressure, thus  effectively motorists to keep driving even on flat tires.

Commenting on the launch of the new tire, Liu Yi, Managing Director of Al Rahala International commented that it was great to mark the launch of the company’s tires with new technology, the runflat “ZRT” range and to meet all of its distributors in the region.
