At tomorrow’s MEMS Executive Congress, Bosch, the globe’s top supplier of MEMS sensors, will demonstrate the ways by which customers can benefit when a group of companies share their technical expertise in small MEMS sensors as well as in bigger, more intricate systems.
The newest MEMS products from Bosch continuously show how the experience from its two decades of high volume MEMS production is keeping the company at the leading-edge of MEMS innovation.
Bosch Sensortech’s BMF055 MEMS sensor is the first custom, programmable 9-axis motion sensor in the industry with accompanying software which offers customers with a streamlined method of incorporating state-of-the-art sensor fusion functionality.
The AKU350 and AKU151 ultra-high performance MEMS microphones from Akustica merges a new MEMS architecture and fabrication process, new ASIC design elements, and advanced packaging technologies into two microphones with industry-leading performance for wearable and mobile applications.
The all-new SMA130, which employs packaging technology primarily designed by Bosch for consumer applications, is the smallest triaxial accelerator sensor in the world for automotive applications.
Each of the new MEMS sensors is a proof of the unique advantage of being a part of the German company, where each inpidual company can leverage the full breadth and depth of the Group’s expertise in MEMS design, modeling and production. This enables all Bosch units to instantly respond to their customers’ requirements by employing newly developed technology and adapting older technology to provide perse end markets with new and advanced MEMS products.
The MEMS Executive Congress US 2015, which is presented by the MEMS Industry Group, gathers leaders from the field of MEMS and sensors. It will run until November 6 in Napa, California.
