CBG Technologies Launches PW Series Solvent Recycler

US-based company CBG Technologies has recently unveiled the PW Series Solvent Recycling Systems, particularly designed to clean precision parts. The series provides full integration with new and existing parts washers, vapor degreasers and ultrasonic cleaning systems. Through this integration, consistently-fresh solvent is produced through constant recycling and recovers 100 percent of the solvent for reuse.

Precision parts manufacturers take advantage of this advanced and eco-friendly equipment line as it simplifies the production process. The use of clean solvents helps eliminate repeat runs caused by rejected parts. In addition, the PW Series reduces the cost of production by eliminating the expense associated with waste disposal and the purchase of new solvents.

Offered in 15- and 30-gallon sizes, the PW Series provides a recycled solvent that meets specification requirements. It is fully automated and boasts an all-metal construction with a dual wall 304 stainless steel processing tank. Additionally, all models are certified by CSA and UL 2208.

According to CBG customer Jody Cook, Facilities Engineer, at Jore Corporation, given that their CBG PW Series recycler was integrated with their degreaser, their production cleaning process has been significantly enhanced in a number of ways. She said that with the 24/7 availability of clean production solvent, they prevent routine shutdowns to drain their Baron-Blakeslee degreaser and replenish the solvent, which also minimizes staff exposure to solvents and repeat runs due to part rejects.

Since the labor time required to make temperature adjustments is less and the heater coils are no longer tasked to heat saturated solvents, this prolongs the life span of the coils, while reducing expensive repairs and downtime.
