Nissan Middle East is making life a lot easier for customers in the Middle East by offering extended service intervals for its new models in the region.
This replacement of the 5,000 km interval that is generally the norm here with a 10,000 km service interval is a part of the Japanese automaker’s regional after-sales excellence strategy. Customers will benefit from fewer, less frequent trips to have their vehicles serviced without any compromise when it comes to safety and reliability. Thus they will have less tension, greater flexibility and will get better value for their money. This move will help to cement Nissan’s reputation as one of the top automotive companies in the region when it comes to customer service excellence.
Commenting on the initiative, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, Samir Cherfan said that it highlights the company’s commitment to its regional customers. He said that by increasing the intervals between service checks, customers can optimize the costs of maintenance and ownership, while continuing to remain consumer focused.
From 1 December 2015, all the Nissan models that are sold on a retail basis in this region will receive either periodic service intervals every 10,000km or every six months, depending on which comes first.
Depending on their preference, customers can also opt for services every 5000 kilometers, depending on their usage and the distance covered.
“Most of us in the region live in extreme weather conditions and we have adapted to the heat, dust, humidity in our own way. Our cars operate in punishing environments and with that in mind, many of our customers might prefer to stick with their existing arrangements, especially as Nissan’s service costs are the lowest in the business. This new announcement is about Nissan staying in tune with customer requirements and offering more choice than ever,” added Cherfan.
Based on the extreme climatic conditions in the region, Nissan conducted extensive studies to help it develop the best Engine Oil for the extending the service intervals. Hence customers are now advised to use the new “Nissan Genuine Synthetic Motor Oil (NGMO: 5W30SM), which when used can make vehicles more durable and safe even in extremely hot and dusty weather conditions.
In the past year, according to figures from Nissan Middle East’s Aftersales pision, the demand for products belonging to the Nissan Genuine Motor Oil Range has increased by 70 per cent and it has become increasingly popular among Nissan customers in the region. It was formulated specially for the tough weather conditions in the region and in the long run will help users to increase engine life and performance while reducing maintenance costs.
Nissan Genuine Motor Oil Range is available through its main National Sales Companies and can be found at Nissan Service Centers, Parts Outlets and Authorized Oil Wholesalers across the Middle East.
Cherfan concluded by saying that by giving all its models the best quality service and maintenance, the company was reiterating its commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer service. It is this commitment to Aftersales that has helped Nissan to achieve high levels of growth and customer satisfaction in the region.
