Yokohama India Launches BluEarth-GT tyre in India

Yokohama India Pvt. Ltd, has launched its latest edition of the BluEarth Series – ‘BluEarth – GT’ in India. Inspired by the Grand Touring concept, GT offers the best of the both – performance and comfort.

BluEarth-GT is proudly ‘Made In India’ at Yokohama India’s state of the art manufacturing unit at Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Nitin Mantri, Chairman Yokohama India said, “At Yokohama we look at the bigger picture that goes beyond pure financials. In 2010, we launched the BluEarth series, aimed at being Environment friendly, Human friendly and Social friendly. GT is the latest addition to this family. With significant development in road infrastructure, there has been an increase in demand for better cars which in turn demands higher rim sizes and with the changing landscape, there is also an ever growing need for performance without compromising on comfort – that is where BluEarth-GT comes in.” 

 BluEarth-GT is an asymmetric tread design that incorporates ground-breaking features like Lightening Grooves and Blade Cut Sipes to enhance performance while features like Mound Profile, Dimple Shoulders and higher pitch numbers make the drive luxurious.

To be available in 26 sizes ranging from 14 to 17 inch by end of the year, BluEarth- GT will be suitable for Premium Hatchback onwards. The Triple Centre Ribs, Silica based compound along with Advanced side profile make it a perfect cruising partner for long drives – the extra dose of performance without compromising on comfort.
