The 11th edition of TyreExpo Asia, which is the most established international tire trade show in South East Asia is scheduled to be held in Singapore from March 21 to 23. The show normally serves as a meeting point for regional suppliers and buyers around Asia. Over 300 exhibitors will be expected to participate in the show which will be held the Singapore Expo and will cover an area of 13,500 square meters.
One distinctive feature this year will be that that the inaugural edition of the GarageX Asia show will be held concurrently with TyreExpo Asia. GarageXpo Asia will give key players in the growing repair and maintenance industry in the region a chance to highlight their products and services. It will serve as a platform for the automotive aftermarket communities in Southeast Asia to get together and share the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
There are many events at the show that visitors can look forward to like Technical workshops, knowledgeable discussions by experts called “TyreTalk” and “GarageTalk”, and Business Matching Services for networking. A broad range of topics will be covered in the TyreTalk and GarageTalk sessions ranging from contemporary issues relating to tires, workshops, issues affecting the trade, and future technologies and trends.
Speaking about the preparations for the show, Andrew Tan, Deputy Project Director, Automotive & Commodities Cluster, SingEx Exhibitions said that the Tyrexpo Technical Workshops are one feature of the show that visitors can really look forward to and many visitors have expressed interest in attending the series of workshops, for which TyreExpo Asia has partnered with selected exhibitors. Another notable feature of this edition of the show will be a telematics zone, which will be dedicated to telematics companies. The business matching service will allow visitors to network effectively. The concurrent GarageXpo Asia show will give visitors an overview of a diverse range of exhibits including workshop equipment, bodywork and collision repair, as well as diagnostic equipment.
Andrew Tan concluded, “There will be also be two other events taking place alongside Tyrexpo Asia and GarageXpo Asia – which will be the World Rubber Summit (WRS) and the Rubber Exchange Forum (REF). It is a very busy time ahead for the international tyre industry! This will bring great synergies of buyers and seller groups across the two shows and we look forward to welcoming everybody in March 2017!”.
