Trelleborg is planning to unveil a new online service called YourTire at Agritechnica 2017. The new service will allows customers to personalize their Trelleborg radial tractor tyres. This is the first such instance in which farm tyres can be personalized. Customers can use the YourTire online configurator tool to add their name or logo to new tyres.
Commenting on the new service, Maurizio Buonopane, Business Development Manager at Trelleborg Wheel Systems, explained that the company is offering this new service based on the requirements of customers.
Buonopane said that Trelleborg is positioned as a brand of choice as many of the company’s leading tyres are customer specified as original equipment. This means that when customers configure their farm machine, they are also opting for tyres from Trelleborg. YourTire will now help Trelleborg provide customers with an extra level of personalisation, as commercial agricultural contractors can now use this service to add their name or logo to the tyres that are fitted to their machines. This makes them more recognisable.
Buonopane added, “YourTire offers customers something unique; a tyre that delivers excellent performance as well as product personalisation. We live in an era of customisation where the personal touch gets added in many aspects of people’s lives and tyres shouldn’t be any different.
Agritechnica 2017 will be held from November 12 to 18 in Hannover, Germany. At the Trelleborg booth at the show. The company will be highlighting the new “YourTire” service by displaying a IF900/65R46 TM1000 High Power tyre that will be personalized with the Blunk name. Blunk is one of the leading agricultural contracting firms in Germany.
