Trelleborg to Showcase ‘Excellence in Extreme Environments’ at Steinexpo

Trelleborg Wheel Systems has said that the company is set to showcase the ground-breaking quality and reliability of its solid and pneumatic tyres at the 2017 edition of Steinexpo. The 10th edition of Steinexpo is scheduled to be held from 30 August to 2 September 2017 in Homberg/Ohm, Germany. The venue is said to be the largest and most impressive basalt quarry in Europe.

Trelleborg which will be occupying booth B53 will be highlighting its latest range of radial and diagonal pneumatic tyres for construction loaders and graders as well as its solid tyres for extreme environments. These extreme environments include waste transfer stations, underground mining operations and scrap metal recycling sites. For such situations Trelleborg has a range of solid tyres which are notable for being durable, and cut resistant solutions. Using these tyres can minimize the downtime caused by flats and sidewall cuts. These solid tyres also offer excellent ride comfort thanks to their patented elliptical aperture design. This design makes them safer and also reduce operator fatigue and equipment wear so that they can be used for a longer duration.

At Steinexpo, Trelleborg will highlight its premium pneumatic tyres which can be used in loaders and graders. These tyres are all steel radial construction tyres which can deliver optimum durability and maximum productivity. They provide higher levels of traction on surfaces like mud, sand and gravel while reducing the levels of vibration on concrete and asphalt.
