Leading Turkish tire manufacturer Petlas used the recent SIMA show to unveil its new tire, PT-TRAC. The SIMA Show is one of the leading agricultural trade fairs in Europe. PT-TRAC drew plenty of attention from the visitors to the show.
Petlas is positioning its new tire as one that has the potential to transform the agricultural landscape in Europe in the near future as the tire features its proprietary CupWheel technology. With the PT-TRAC tire, the company’s aim was to come up a tire that can increase the profits of producers by reducing fuel consumption and causing minimal damage to the soil.
The new tire achieves these objectives with its extremely wide footprint. The tire gently touches the ground without damaging the roots of plants that are below the surface. Thus, through the even distribution of pressure, the tire minimizes the possible negative effects of soil compaction on long-term yields.
Oguz Ay, International Sales and Marketing Director of Petlas said that the company’s innovation strategies and action plans are always driven by its customers’ benefits and satisfaction. He said that the PT-TRAC is the latest indicator of the company’s drive to fulfill customers’ needs and meet emerging demands in the tire business.
The new tire offers the twin benefits of the CupWheel technology and the superiority of Petlas’ unique pattern design TA110. The PT-TRAC thus transfers full vehicle power to the ground by decreasing slippage and boosting drag force. According to company representatives, this leads to significant improvement in consistency of traction and efficiency of performance and fuel consumption.”
In addition to these benefits, the tire is highly robust and demonstrates excellent durability. Ay concluded by saying that Petlas would keep expanding its product range even further.
