Central Trading Company LLC, which is the authorized distributor of Michelin in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has finalized an agreement with AutoPro allowing AutoPro to sell Michelin tires at all its stores in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This agreement covers supply of Michelin branded tires with RFID tags that are a mandatory ESMA requirement from ESMA to the vast network of AutoPro service centres located in Dubai and Sharjah.
Commenting on the collaboration, Naser Shashaa, Regional Director, Michelin Middle East, said that the company was constantly seeking to expand its presence in the markets it operates so that customers enjoy greater access to Michelin tires. AutoPro is a reputed brand in the field of professional automotive services and hence proved to be a suitable partner. As an outcome of the partnership, in addition to existing Michelin point of sales, customers will now be able to get access to Michelin’s products and certified services at more locations near them.
This distribution agreement between Michelin and AutoPro will facilitate the expansion of Michelin’s retail footprint in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The 39 AutoPro service stations will complement the current points of sale that Michelin has in the UAE by providing the full range of Michelin products and expert services related to tire change, safety checks, nitrogen inflation, alignment and other non-tire related services.
