Hankook Tire won the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019, award for its new Ventus S1 evo 3 (K127) tire. The Ventus S1 evo 3 (K127) tire is a new UHP flagship tire that the tire manufacturer says delivers top level dry and wet handling performance as well as comfort. It comes with a highly stiff outside shoulder and in-outside dual pitch to reduce noise and ramp up performance both on wet and dry surfaces. The tire also has interlocking outside grooves to minimize hydroplaning and improve while at the same time improving dry handling performance.
The improvement in grip does not in any way compromise high fuel-efficiency or safety. All these characteristics make the Ventus S1 evo 3 tire an ideal choice for drivers who value mileage, safety, and outstanding handling stability.
Commenting on the Red Dot design award, Hankook Tire’s Hyun Bum Cho said that the Korean tire manufacturer was delighted to become a winner again at the 2019 Red Dot Design Awards. With the addition of the Ventus S1 evo 3 tire to its range and following on from multiple awards at the 2018 edition of the event, Hankook Tire is well on track to continue its journey to promote its excellence in product design and thus further strengthen its brand value around the globe.
The Red Dot Award: Product Design receives numerous entries from across the globe every year as part of its quest to identify some of the products with the best design.
